Building a Guitar for my Dad from Start to Finish! Custom Strat Style
Just a quick video of building a guitar for my dad starting from a plank of wood and building all the way through to the end product and playing. This was a super fun and meaningful project.
My dad's favorite guitar shape is a stratocaster, thus why I went with that shape.
He served in the military for 35 years and was a loadmaster on C-130's so I went for a paint scheme to match when they were OD green throughout the 80's before switching to the gray color they are now. He is an avid rifle and firearm shooter/reloader and collects WWI and WWII rifles so I added Walnut into the neck milled from an M1 Garand stock.
My wife picked out the cream colored pickguard and pickups as this matches th...

My Custom X-Shape Guitar I Built In A Mix (Song Only)
Просмотров 1855 месяцев назад
Here is the short version of my last video. So you can just get straight to hearing the guitar in a mix! I think it sounds pretty killer! This guitar is definitely metal as f*ck! I love it and think it plays great! Hope you enjoy the song and the guitar. Let me know what you think! Thanks for watching!
Building & Playing My Custom X-Type Guitar!
Просмотров 2045 месяцев назад
In this video I am introducing a guitar I've been working on and finally finishing it and playing it for the first time! The X-shape is one of my favorite shapes and I took a Jackson Warrior and made some slight tweaks to make it my own! This guitar started out as a basswoof body blank, then I glued on a poplar burl top. From there I cut it out, shaped it, routed everything out, did some body c...
Taming The Noise From My Harley Benton TB-70 Bass Guitar
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.6 месяцев назад
I love my budget Harley Benton TB-70, thunderbird bass, but its a noisy son of a gun. So I attempt to get the buzz gone. Like others who have had Harley Benton guitars, it needed some work on the ground. Then I used copper foil conductive tape just to help with the noise floor. It overall went really well and is a lot quieter, not perfect but way way better! It was overall an easy thing to do a...

Just a short and sweet video of level sanding, buffing, and reassembling my Jackson Dinky JS32T DKA. This is much better than the matte black that the guitar originally was! Inspired by the 80's bright yellow Ibanez RG and the Canabilsmo finishes of Solar Guitar. Hope you enjoy this video! I'm stoked on this paintjob! I finished the custom paintjob on my Jackson Dinky JS32 DKA. This turned out so awesome and I am stoked on it. It really inspired me and this morning I sat down for a couple of hours and banged out these riffs/short crossover thrash song! Hope you enjoy it, I know I enjoyed writing it!
Jackson Dinky Transformation! Quick Custom Guitar Paintjob!

Just a really short and sweet video of refinishing my Jackson Dinky JS32T DKA. This guitar is $369.99 and rips! Its fun to play, but I'm allergic to the finish. So to keep it playable, I need to refinish it so I decide to have fun and create a paintscheme I've always been wanting! Inspired by the 80's bright yellow Ibanez RG and the Canabilsmo finishes of Solar Guitar. Thanks to Guitar Guts for...
Re-Recorded an Old Song From My Old Band Condemned Remains!
Просмотров 1297 месяцев назад
On a whim, decided to relearn and re-record a song from the band I was in 2008-2011 called Condemned Remains. We had some pretty good tunes and this one is no exception! It's simple but effective riffing and I love playing it! It was a song we never finished so I just recorded what we had and its good enough for me! Hope you enjoy this video!

I am so happy with how this guitar has turned out! It really rips and for my first built from scratch I am extremely pleased with the results! It sounds killer nad plays even more killerer. Can't wait to finish my Warrior style build I...

I tried this and it worked. The only thing I did differently was once I had 2 blades stacked I but the third blade in between them. It slide in a lot easier than trying on top or the bottom. And continued add blades like that.

If you stack the blades from the bottom i.e. insert the first one and then insert subsequent blades under the initial blade, you get much easier separation of the crown race.

  • @NonLegitNation2
    @NonLegitNation2 16 дней назад

this 100% works. been doing this for years except only using one razor blade and a thin blade flathead screwdriver. I DO highly recommend throwing 2 layers of gorilla tape on the top part of the razor blade that you are banging on, that way it adds a little bit of cushion which helps prevent the razor blade from potentially shattering when you hit it. For even more added protection put a piece of gorilla tape on the hammer head. I say specifically gorilla tape because it's thicker then normal duct tape and it sticks really well. Luckily the crown race I have for my current fork is the easy to install/remove type with a slit in it.
